Brand Relaunches

In 2013, Vox Media acquired Curbed Network. I was a part of the team that worked to refresh the brand identities migrate all existing content to Vox Media’s platform, Chorus.

Eater

Eater was the first of the Curbed Network sites to be relaunched on Chorus. From start to finish the project took approximately seven months. The relaunch included migrating over all of the existing content, refreshing the brand, and redesigning the website.

The goal of the redesign was to better highlight the food photography, restaurant reviews, investigative reporting, and the in-depth features, while still showcasing daily news.

Racked

Racked was relaunched in 10 weeks, from our initial kickoff to final launch. The relaunch included migrating over all of the existing content (on racked.com along with their local city sites), refreshing the brand, and redesigning the website.

Racked has since relaunched with a new design and brand identity to better reflect their new editorial mission. Below are design explorations and screenshots from the relaunch that I worked on.
